Registration to Audition at the Taste of RVA Casting Call ends today at 3 p.m.

If you’ve got a playful palate and consider yourself a ferocious foodie with a little knowledge about a range of cuisines and cocktails, make your reservations to help showcase some of RVA’s best eateries!

The Community Idea Stations (WCVE Richmond PBS) and the RVA Chamber’s i.e.* Nation is producing the pilot for a new series, “Taste of RVA” to air in Fall 2014. Open casting calls for actors interested in hosting the series will be held at the Community Idea Stations Studios on Monday, April 28th at 5PM.

We are looking to cast two show hosts, aged 24 to 35. No prior acting experience is required but you must be able to improvise inventive cuisine conversation. We are particularly interested in diversity, edginess and an ineffable and nearly indescribable “RVA essence” that will help brand our city and promote the genre bending, fusion inspired, inventive cuisine and neighborhoods around the city.

If selected for the pilot, you must be able to make a commitment to at least two 10 episode seasons with the show. There is a $300 per episode stipend and as well as a copy for your audition reel.

If you plan to audition, let us know here.
